Online UK retailer, Zavvi, have become the first retailer to drop the price of a brand new Xbox One with the console now retailing for £409.99 including free delivery in the British mainland, that’s a 20 pound saving.

A quick scan around some other UK retailers isn’t showing a this price drop being replicated by anyone and is likely just a move by Zavvi to make a larger name in the UK gaming market.

Videogamer reports that this is still a solid £60 more than the PlayStation 4 which is still suffering from supply issues in all the territories that it has been released in while the Xbox One now appears to be available in pretty much all countries and regions that have seen a release.

Which just makes the lack of Xbox One availability locally even more surprising. They can obviously keep up with the demand which either means their supply chain is better than Sony’s or the console isn’t as popular. Either way we should be seeing it get released soon if the supply continues to be good.

Oh and don’t fret if you were an early adopter of the Xbox One and now fee a little miffed that you paid more only last month, this latest console doesn’t appear to include a free game.
