While mainstream media is quick to paint videogames as something that’s only good for turning teenagers in to deranged, psychopathic serial murders, those of us who actually play them on a regular basis know better. And not just because we’re hopelessly biased.
We know that we have much better hand-eye co-ordination and better problem solving abilities than our dim-witted, video-game shunning friends; but here’s a wonderful infographic by Frugaldad showing the many, many ways that video gaming has actually improved people’s lives.
It’s really quite interesting – and serves as a handy chart to show your spouse, mother or any other interloper who’d have you quit your favourite hobby and pastime.
