I am pretty sure most of you have seen this by now but it’s well worth watching again.. and again… and again..

Some of the most awesome pieces that I saw in this trailer

1. Chainsaw battles
2. Using a locust as a shield
3. Size of the battles
4. Awesome new pistol…

So what took your fancy?

I for one welcome our future robotic overlords

Nothing piqued my interest apart from that pistol. Strange, I loved Gears’ single player campaign but the only thing on my mind is the multiplayer, so I was trying to figure out what the new pistol and hammerburst means for multiplayer balance, and, also, if you could use multiplayer opponents as meat shields as well…

😯 Now we need a GoW vs. MGS4 video 😈

Are you people on some kind of drug? 🙄
    That was crap.

  • That was the 3rd section of the first chapter. Think about it, it’s probably still part of the tutorial.

As far as multiplayer goes, I can’t wait to give some chirpy SoB their first Chainsaw aenema 😀

There’s a comparison video up on GT as well, it highlights what you don’t see – the models are very similar to GoW1 but there’s a huge difference in detail and lighting.

  • I like the new things you can do with the chainsaw. Looks fun.

  • That looks frikken awesome! I want. 😥

Seemed pretty decent, lets hope the new SP Campaign is atleast long enough to enjoy, that was my biggest issue with the first one. The new occlusion shadow mapping really does wonders to the environment. Thank god for removing that brown filter! Guess they don’t need cheap tricks to bring in immersion with this one! And this might be too early to spot, I just hope dead bodies don’t transform into foil weight again!

Kinda annoyed me that there is no interaction with the flock , but atleast it helps to pull you into the atmosphere.

Looking forward to this now! Now Lets hope they add in the water physics and the soft body physics into the game!
