With God of War III charging towards the Playstation 3 there are many fans who are feeling the dire need to go back and play the original two on their PS2’s as well as people like myself who have only played one but not the other.
A great announcement hit the internet yesterday in the form of a God of War one and two compilation blu ray that will be available for the Playstation 3 in not very long.
The two Playstation 2 games will be remastered to run at a solid 60 frames per second, at 720p in a way that is going to look a whole lot better than what they would have looked like if they were merely backwards compatible PS2 games running on the Playstation 3.
The games will also come packed with Playstation Network Trophy support for those of you who are into that sort of thing.
What I really do like about this bundle of Greek violence is the fact that in the United States the price being given is sitting at around two thirds the price of new titles at $39.99 which means that we may well receive it here for R400 – R500 in the right places.
The God of War compilation is set to be available this Christmas.

I wonder if they’ll combine all three together when GOW3 is released?
