So you’re a massive James Bond fan and you own a Xbox 360 and PS3 which means you’re currently confused over which version of the remake of GoldenEye to get?

Well worry no more as the answer is simple, you’re going to want to get your grubby paws on the PS3 version. If you care about the pixel count that is.

James Steer, producer on GoldenEye, has confirmed at an official event that the PS3 version of GoldenEye will render in glorious 1080p while the Xbox 360 version is lagging behind at 720p.

The story is the same but each stage has been crafted to be exceptionally better on the PS3 version.

It wasn’t mentioned specifically why the PS3 version is so much better, but the developers have created their own engine for GoldenEye and if it works out and the game gets fantastic reviews then expect a bunch more games using this engine to be better on the PS3 moving forward.
