GRiD: Xbox 360 vs PS3 – for real

So after the monumental mistake of last week where Gametrailers mistakenly labelled the PS3 video as a 360 video they have now returned with the correct labels and comparison video.

Hopefully this incident hasn’t hurt Gametrailers to much but I have a feeling we are going to hear about it everytime the 360 looks better than the PS3 version.

Anyway in this video I personally feel the PS3 version has the nicer looking graphics but the 360 version does seem to have more objects on the screen at any one time.

But who cares about the number of people in the crowd or how many buildings are in the distance anyway?

I think they both look the same. (other than a colour difference)

This is the Demo they showing, so it’s not the final product.
Hell it may look better than this.

I don’t want to buy the game too look at the crowd, my MOST favorite feature of this game, and no other racing game comes close to it is it’s replay I love watching myself cruise around the track as if in a high speed car chase! gives me goose bumps 🙂

They both look great. Kudos to Codies 😉

My best part? The racing and the replays. I feel empowered to compete without being too nervous to try anything harsh.

Fanbois on both sides will be happy – it just looks great!

    Seriously I can’t see a difference graphically.
But is it just me or did the PS3 seem to handle those side view crashes with more smoothness?

Just you, cannot see a difference at all. Really it looks almost identical.

I don’t want to quibble, but I don’t think so, what I did notice is that there’s no glass or schrapnel from the crash in the PS3 version where there is in the 360 version.

It could just be the actual driving.
