I heard about this yesterday but I was a bit worried that it was illegal or may have some adverse side effects but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
So if you want to try out the latest Guitar Hero 3 demo you just need to do the following
Download the ISO from http://www.megaupload.com/?d=5OX44D2U
Write this to a CD or DVD the put that into your Xbox 360 and go to where your demo’s normally are. You will see Guitar Hero 3 has popped up.
That’s it. Obviously no modding is required and there is no risk to your live status or anything like that.

The demo was included in the Xbox 360 version on Tony Hawks Proving ground, someone then copied the demo off and tested it only to find that the developers never put any security in.
So no hacking or flashing required and to be honest I don’t see Harmonix crying about millions of people playing their demo 😉

wish they would do this with all demos.
that way i would be able to save disc space ,
it get frustrating every time you need something
downloaded there is not enough space, and apart from buying the 120 gig hdd, this would be a wonderful option.
