Just a quick note on some confirmations that I received from Microsoft.
1. There is currently nothing to be said about a local price cut. We are all waiting on America for this one. (But in my opinion we should be expecting one soon)
2. The Halo 3 Special Edition Console will be available in limited numbers to South African gamers. It comes with everything the pro has plus a HDMI port. And a nifty colour scheme 🙂
3. Halo 3 has no levels (as far as anyone knows) set in South Africa. Previous reports the contrary are believed to be because of Americans not realising that Africa is a continent and Kenya is a country not a state. We are now accepting donations to purchase some maps of Africa to be distributed to all gaming journalists world wide.
4. Microsoft South Africa is doing their level best to get Live officially released here. Once again they are waiting on Head Office for the approval.
