Halo 3 Midnight Launch – BT Games

I received an email earlier from BT Games confirming that certain BT Games stores will be open for a midnight launch for Halo 3.

Not only are we getting a midnight launch but they are going to be holding local Halo tournaments where the top marines will walk away with R2000 in instore credit and the top player in the country will walk away with a brand spanking new Xbox 360 console… no news yet if it will be the limited Edition Halo 3 console but I wouldn’t get your hopes up..

The stores participating in the launch are

Northgate, Centre and East Rand mall, Centurion Mall, Pavilion and Tyger Valley…

So who is going to be at the midnight launch?

Problem with this is is a damn Tuesday night! WTF?!

Their target audience are a few college / Uni kids or self employed guys. I’m not a Halo Fan but I love these small launch parties and for me to stay up til 2 – 3 in the morning would be stupid.
