Believe it or not but the fight just isn’t finished yet.
Even though it hasn’t been confirmed I am pretty much convinced that Halo 4 is on it’s way and the odds of it leading the Xbox 720’s charge are high.
To add some backing to this Microsoft has started the recruitment process for a Program Manager with the following requirements
“Microsoft’s new Halo Studio team is looking for a technical and highly talented program manager to work with an engineering team to help define the next generation of gaming software technologyâ€
They go on to specify that the new recruit will “be instrumental in helping to lead the development of the engine that will power future experiences for the next generation of gaming platformsâ€
Halo + New gaming Platform = Xbox 720

It’s not going to be called the Xbox 720,my bet is on either Xbox 3 or Xboxxx 😆 But yeah Halo in whatever form will be right next to it when it launched (2011 maybe?).

I hope MS take their time before pushing out a new console. The current gen is doing very well IMHO and moving to a new gen too soon will hurt them. The market will perceive the XBox as “lightweight” and that will hurt future sales.

i hope they don’t rush it cause when they do it = shitty console. I’m tired of the red ring of death which was the resault of the 360 being rushed and microsoft lost 1.4 billion dollars from the 360 cause of this.
