For those that don’t know we have a very sexy sister site, wait this just got weird.. er we have a very intelligent and attractive.. dammit. Look we write about movies as well over at www.themovies.co.za.

But I know that a lot of you, while enjoying movies, don’t read the site everyday but the recent movie trailers and news have been so important that I felt it my duty to ensure you have all seen the latest movie trailers for the geeky movies incoming.

Avengers: Age of Ultron

Age of Ultron opens this week and has some scenes set in our very own country. If you haven’t booked your tickets yet then do so right now. That is an order.

Ant Man

I  mocked Darryn when he started going on about Ant Man but I do have to admit that he may have been right.

It actually looks pretty awesome.

Fantastic Four

Another sequel is on the way with the new Fantastic Four being showcased and I have to say it is looking absolutely epic.

Mad Max

One of my top games of Gamescom 2013 is also a remake of a slightly famous movie. Mad Max is pure adrenalin mixed awesomeness with a side dish of hell yeah… I can’t wait

So that’s it, all the top geeky movies that you have to see and if you want to keep up to date then make sure you head on over to www.themovies.co.za on a daily basis to be informed.

Oh wait… I think I missed one.

UPDATE

How did I miss the new Jurassic Park remake which is also looking incredible.

I’m pretty sure it’s got more in common with Just cause than Borderlands, at least how it plays anyway. Oh and The Mad Max universe has being around for a damn site longer than Borderlands!

Yeah, I spoke to IT last week. They’re doing it because the people in the call centre spend more time on YouTube than working. So I knew it was coming. And yeah, they are happy to have access. But there are 2 people doing 5 people’s jobs in our IT department. Sad days for them.

To be fair in most instances it’s external parties that put together the trailers for the distributors and the directors /producers etc. have no involvement or say on it, which is a huge problem when the distributors decide that giving away major plot points in marketing material makes for “good” marketing
