This game has started to look good over the past couple of weeks and now it’s time of reckoning has come.

The Haze Demo has been released on PSN and is available to download right now, not only can you get a taste of the single player campaign but the demo also includes 4 player drop in/drop out co-op either online, through a LAN or split screen.

The Americans aren’t getting it until tomorrow so go now and beat the yanks 😉

Just a heads-up: it’s not on the ZA store, but it is on the UK store. Go figure. 1.5Gb.

It’s not bad, some blurry textures and a lack of environmental interaction aside, but it’s also not going to set the world on fire.

Should we rather save our bandwith for the GRiD demo out tomorrow ❓

Haze is PS3 only at this point so that should answer your question.

Everyone is bashing the graphics of this game, which is disappointing. The general response seems to be very “ho-hum” so they may end up having to port this to the 360 after all.

The GRID demo for the 360 and PS3 should be out tomorrow. There’s even a championship planned. Those planning on entering should visit the GRID forum 😉

Haze has never impressed me, Sorry. I go back to BF:Vietnam and “asymmetrical warfare” is not as fun as it sounds. The rest of the story is just seems like such a clichéd rehash.

As for the graphics, i hosed myself when they figured out it’s running in “sub HD 576p”, and I hope it’s just a demo glitch, because for anyone in a PAL territory, 576 is definitively SD. 480p is just for NTSC scum 😛
