There was no way I was going to miss posting about this story when Ripten.com had made such an awesome image…

Apparently on the official US PlayStation website it was confirmed that with the next patch you would finally be able to chat to any of your friends “ingame”. the page was taken down very quickly but one eagle eyed individual managed to get a screenshot which can be viewed here.

So all eyes on Sony at GDC to see if it finally gets announced.

    My headset thingy that came in the box is collecting dust thanks to SA being XBox Live-less 🙁

    I bet the GINGERBREAD man has something to do with this!

    @Fox1, you do know that we have a very large Xbox Live community in South Africa?

    You can buy Live cards from http://www.take2.co.za and sign up to play. It’s not ideal but it does exist.

    Wow! Our community is huge hey!

    @doobiwan and Lazy: I never sign up with Live because I want to know whether I will be able to change my location to SA once or whenever Live is launched in SA.

    Thanks Guys

    @Fox1,

    No you won’t be able to change your location. Well not if history is to be believed.

    You do however need to join us for a COD4 match or Burnout challenge sometime.
