It’s a Hard-Knock Life – The Recession Affects Everyone

The global economic downturn is a phrase that’s been slung around a lot lately – and for good reason. The global economy is pretty much in the toilet (although it is starting to look a little more rosy), and everyone has been feeling its effects. Companies have been closing, stories of retrenchments abound and all the while prices have been soaring.

I for one have taken to eating far less beluga caviar and fois gras washed down with Cristal – and supplemented them with 2 minute noodles and curried beans on toast. If the recession has you down, don’t worry – you’re in good company. Several videogame characters have fallen on hard times too. Even Pac-Man’s been spotted swigging Old Brown sherry from within a brown paper bag.
