Japanese Train Violence

Jawbreaker A 21-Year-Old Japanese man on the heavily overcrowded Psycho Saikyo Line train was asked to stop playing his cellphone games by an elderly lady. He then did what any sane, rational person would do; He peppered the air with a string of colourful expletives before repeatedly punching the old crone in the face, breaking her jaw in the process.

After being restrained by fellow passengers the ageist, misanthropic lunatic was taken to the Toda Park Office station where – in the company of Japanese Police – punched her in the face again. While there is no word on what exactly he was playing (most likely Mahjong, or something involving tentacle rape) there’s inevitably some  of evidence somewhere that playing it makes people violent.

Videogames. Ban this sick filth!

Editor. I’m old, grumpy and more than just a little cynical. One day, I found myself in possession of a NES, and a copy of Super Mario Bros 3. It was that game that made me realise that games were more than just toys to idly while away time – they were capable of being masterpieces. I’m here now, looking for more of those masterpieces.
