John Koller from Sony has been chatting to Gamespot about the upcoming PSP 3000 and the improvements contained within…
To be honest the improvements are pretty minor, something which Sony admits themselves, the most important improvements being the brighter screen and maybe the microphone?
I know I personally found it annoying that I couldn’t use my PSP outside so a brighter screen is most welcome and I am quite happy to take the 30 minutes knock on battery life for that.
He also goes on about the pricing in the US, which means very little to us but at least it indicates that the next PSP will be coming in at the same price as before.

From what I hear the differences arent very big between this and the slim but if you still have the first psp model then it makes quite a large difference.

This will be harder to hack,I doubt cutting the line in the battery or pulling the 5th pin would work. . Or even the MMS.chances are. .its harder. .or maybe not possible to hack.In any case,I love my slim, and playing FFVII on PSP is worth hacking it.

I think taking a 30 minute knock on the battery life is bad. That is taking a step backwards.
