Killzone 2 Demo Live – Not Multiplayer Enabled

For those of you lucky enough to not have to worry about bandwidth issues then I have some good news… The Killzone 2 demo has hit the US and EU marketplaces and is now ready for downloading.

It weighs in at a hefty 1207Mb so if you are worried about your bandwidth rather don’t waste your time and just put that R70 towards your pre-order… You know you are going to buy it anyway because it’s just that good.

The bad news about the demo is that is doesn’t, contrary to current rumours, contain any multiplayer aspect at all.

For that part of the game you are going to have to wait until release date.

I really thought they would include a little multiplayer as well, but I’m not too phased as I was on the beta testing list and was hugely impressed with the multiplayer I was playing months ago. All the game types flow into one another, unlike most FPS shooters where you choose a game type and you all bounce back to a lobby when it’s done, this one you choose the gametypes and when one is done, the current map objective just changes and you continue playing into the next one 😉 It’s really cool.

surely psn is considered int bandwidth? we don’t have local psn servers, so any dl from there is going to be int cap.

i could be wrong of course

all you need to do is sign in with your int account, select the download and choose the button that says “download in background”. Exit Playstation Store. got to download management and pause the download. switch to your local connection and resume…downlaoded re5 and killzone 2 demo last night…now just to get home, woot!
