Killzone 2 – Fake Multiplayer Video

Honestly you would think these guys would learn.

They are continously being caught with fake footage or touched up images and now they have apparently released some multi-player gameplay footage.

Honestly this is so blatantly false that it’s insulting, half the video is simply a highlight reel and the team ‘chatter’ is so idiotically fake it has actually annoyed me.

I keep on getting impressed by this game and then they release some garbage like this, seriously now.

On the good side, that cloak seems awesome and the ‘plane’ is pretty impressive. I like the fixed guns and destructible environments and as always the graphics are just awesome.

I take offense to the integrity comment.

Flame me all you want but that is slightly off side.
This video has obviously been slapped together with two bit voice acting and scripting. One game that cannot afford to ‘fake’ anything is KillZone.

The question is – was this actually put forward as multiplayer footage by the developer? You get a lot of people just making stuff like this and putting it on the net.

Yes this was put forward by the developers (or marketers) at Leipzig this year.

While I am not disputing that it is infact Mutliplayer footage they would have been much better off without the dodgy voice acting and fake ‘chatter’

… “Honestly this is so blatantly false that it’s insulting, half the video is simply a highlight reel and the team ‘chatter’ is so idiotically fake it has actually annoyed me.”

It’s a marketing video that shouldn’t have been released. Let the game succeed without trying to make it something it is not.

It would have been fine with any other game but since Killzone has already been caught doctoring trailers and screenshots you think they wouldn’t try and ‘market’ any more press videos. But it seems the fans don’t care

oh okay. ja well in that case, it just comes across as a bit corny and humiliating. Nothing against the game, it looks good and all, but the video just seems a bit stupid.
    Just my opinion.
