1UP has had another preview of Killzone 2 and it sounds like things have improved quite dramatically.
While the vehicle section sounds a bit drab the audio visual side is sounding absolutely perfect and the gameplay and AI have apparently been hugely improved.
Now Killzone 2 has been ridiculed for fake video renders and touched up screenshots and I am very hesitant to believe in it… but it may actually pull it off..

This game is doomed to be over critisized.
I reckon it will have the best graphics scene across any platform when released, but its never going to be revolutionary in terms of gameplay and so will get slaughtered in reviews!

Well, they did let the press play the game on PS3 at the Sony day thing and actual gameplay videos were released of press playing a pre alpha. So I think we can believe the videos we’ve seen this far. It’s pretty much the fist PS3 game that’ll use 5 of the SPE’s in the Cell. The effects and gfx looks extremely good. Will it be a good game? Meh, from what I’ve seen with those gameplay videos is that it pretty much looks like your run of the mill FPS. Worst case scenario would be that it’s a bad game with great gfx. Like a tech demo or something.
