I’m sure you’re all aware of the talk of ‘price hikes’ as far as games are concerned and some of you are fairly upset as we’re all already counting our 5 cent pieces just to support our habits like eating. Apparently all of this gaming price hike talk revolves around Activisions Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 which will cost around £54.99.

Well those of you into mobile gaming (more specifically iPhone gaming) will be stoked to here that since this morning (July 23rd), Konami has decided to hook up some serious specials for the weekend. The awesomest part of all of this is that it includes some of the publisher’s biggest franchise titles including, Silent Hill and even Metal Gear Solid Touch. Unfortunately the price slashing will end sometime on Saturday according to Spong.

Well I reckon you should get on to the App Store and stock up on some titles but if you want you can check some of the prices below with the actual full prices are in brackets for your comparisons.

Metal Gear Solid Touch – £1.79 (£4.99)

Silent Hill: The Escape – 59p (£3.49)

Dance Dance Revolution S – 59p (£3.49)

Silent Scope – 59p (£3.49)

Frogger – 59p (£2.39)
