Lets clear up the Ghostbuster confusion

Go Go gadget... wait wrong game

Okay so early yesterday morning I published that the upcoming Ghostbusters game had been canceled. Then quite quickly after that I updated it to say that the game just no longer had a publisher.

However it seems that quite a few people are still a little confused over this one.

1. Sierra are developing the game and will continue to develop the game until it’s completion.

2. Vivendi have been going through the games they were meant to be publishing (after this Activision/Blizzard thing) and have decided they are not going to be publishing Ghostbusters anymore

3. Someone still will… we hope

Honestly it’s a disturbing sign of the game, why would a huge publisher not want to publish a game that everyone is dying to get their hands on?

“everyone is dying to get their hands on?” that’s really a matter of opinion, I for one haven’t seen any value in getting it 😛

Yeah, i think the real reason is that the game sucked ass. Cool concept, but devs almost always mess up good ideas when it comes to movie tie-ins.

I dont know if the game is going to blow us away or suck royally.

What I do know is that it looked very very decent and deserves to be published. I cant sit and play games like Hour of Victory and a lot of these other pieces of crap knowing that their are much better games out there that arent being published.

Well. Hey everyone.my opinion. Ive been waiting for a ghostbusters game for so long.and they had me sold on the pics they kept releasing.but,I got a bit weary when the devs started trash talking the 360 is limiting the game, and thats why its being developed to ‘take advantage’ of the ps3. With that said, the videos on the net show us that this game has graphics worthy of a 7/10 game.but, wait,I hear ya, gameplay? From what Ive seen, that gets 3,652/10. You point, you fire and within 2 sec catch a ghost. Wtf? Then, the movement of the characters seem a bit robotic.not as fluid as a game made for 2008 should be.and Im being honest here,it sometimes looked like a HD Ps2 game. So now, they better up the ante in the graphics and especially gameplay aspects, even at this late stage.
