If you have Xbox Live and you want to play some lag free games, chances are that you are going to have to find a decent bunch of local players to play with everyday.

Either that or you will ultimately commit suicide after yet another 10 year old American kid tea-bags without any idea that he has only beaten you because you had 3 seconds of lag.

The great news, is that a very nifty local website has been put together that shows off the top locally played games, and also has gamers registered on it so that you can easily find new friends to play with!

More information and the link after the jump.

The site that I am talking about is www.xbox360gamers.co.za and really looks like a handy site to have on your favorites if you are looking for some fresh faces to play games with, especially if you are new to Live.

The site even has the ability to split the gamertags up into regions and even check out the gamerscore leaderboards.

Here’s what the site itself has to say on it’s home page:

The purpose of this website is to allow South African Xbox 360 gamers to easily find other local gamers playing the same games to add to their Xbox Live friends lists. An awesome jump-start for new gamers and a bit of change for gamers with stale friends lists. It’s also a cool way to find out what everyone else is playing in case you’re looking for something new.”

Well, what are you waiting for? Go and check it out. It’s great to see local gamers doing so much to making gaming easier and better. Don’t forget that once you have found some folks to play with, you can always head over to www.gamerlobby.net to organise and setup a game with your new found buddies as well.

Just don’t forget to check out the Lazygamer.co.za news before and after every session.(*wink*wink)
