So Logitech has announced yet another absurdly priced, “bulge-inducing†guitar. I don’t know, but I think I’m over high-end fake guitars. It’s just that…well, my room is kinda starting to look like the playpen of a nerdy dwarf who has an infatuation for plastic.
I mean, don’t get me wrong, this guitar is beautiful. Wait, wait, wait. Is it right to even call it that? Guitar? Okay, um, this…gaming peripheral, is one beautiful piece of work. I mean it’s got metal tuning pegs and a rosewood fingerboard, not to mention a full leather strap and a reinforced strumming button. This baby is glorious, except for one thing…it’s gonna cost you about $200 (that’s over R2000, not including shipping, as you most probably won’t get it here).
You really want so spend that amount on a fake guitar? Not even a real one…just a plain ol’ plastic piece of equipment with some wood and metal in it to make it look…arousing. No, even with a gorgeous “guitar†like this I find myself curiously … unmoved. Probably because the value of all the gaming equipment in my room is enough to put down a deposit on a small house. Hard to say really.
