Mass Effect's Graphics To Be Blown Away By Sequel

Just this past week, my wife decided that it was finally time to tackle Mass Effect, which comes as great timing for me when it comes to posting up this statement from Bioware, let me explain.

Time can either fade your memory, or give you false ideas of how something looked, played etc. This week I found myself stopping every so often whilst walking past my wife’s Xbox 360 for no other reason that to gawk at how impressive the visuals in Mass Effect actually are. Heck, from a bit of a distance the “conversation” parts of the game can sometimes look real or at worst like a beautiful 3D animated series.

My excitement for the next Mass Effect is growing at a crazy pace and now it’s spiked up even more because according to Bioware, we ain’t seen nothin’ yet.

This past week in post on Twitter from the official Mass Effect 2 Twitter account run by Bioware, they had the following to say:

“Love the reactions when I show people our upcoming screenshots. Mass 1 was already a beautiful game, and ME2 visuals are blowing it away.”

A bold statement to make, especially when Mass Effect already looks so good. We know that developers have the tendency to hype their own titles up by over-promising but they seem pretty confident with their statement.

Hopefully some screenshots from Mass Effect 2 will start to surface in the near future so that we can see for ourselves.
