Everybody knows the saying, “movie/game adaptations are always bad”, and for the most part they are.
However watching this third trailer brings a smile to my face, almost every line brought with it a nostalgic feeling. It was a promising movie from the moment they got a recognised actor to play Max Payne but without an entertaining storyline that kept with the Max Payne feel, fans of the game were always going to be unhappy.
I’m happy to say that I am really looking forward to this movie after watching this trailer.

my favourite game of all time being adapted into a movie that might actually be good! 😛

I want to believe but I just can’t get past the horrible casting for Mona Sax.

Ok… silly question… why the hell are there supernatural bat/bird/human/demon things in it??? Could it be that they are supposed to be a representation of Max’ inner demons? Or is this yet yet another director taking liberties?

I thought the exact same thing, I came to the conclusion that the director did that to add a little more action to the movie and maybe make the story easier to tell. Max Payne is a very complex man.
