Kojima Productions has promised the media attending the Tokyo Game Show that the MGS 4 demo that they have been playing is going to be available as a download on PSN very soon.
No dates have been announced but lets hope it will be part of the post TGS update and then we can finally see if the AI is as bad as I think it is.

Very risky. This can dent MGS’ reputation or increase the hype if its a good or bad demo!

@ Ruslan Erm…do you remember a little game called Zone Of The Enders? Yeah? Well, the Metal Gear Solid 2 demo contained within that shifted UNITS! Alot of UNITS. It’s Metal Gear, and in gaming circles Metal Gear’s rep can’t get dented. It’s like Halo – the Halo 3 beta SUCKED like WHOA but what did it do to Halo’s rep…? Nothing. Just kept the hype machine rolling.

True. But seeing Sony’s reputation at tarnishing a proven product with their idiocity scares me at times.

IMO Halo 3 beta was a good preview of what to expect in the online aspect of the game. The sole option of being able to RECORD your round for bragging rights is an awesome idea alone!
