Engadget is reporting that in certain countries when you send your Xbox 360 in for heating problems they are being returned with a more advanced cooling system installed.
There are 2 important things about this. One Microsoft seem to finally be trying to rectify this widely reported problem.
And more importantly aren’t you happy that we don’t need to send our boxes in for repair in South Africa. We just get instant replacements instead….

Hi Im from SA-CPT. Got the RROD last week and i dnt know if i should jus fix it muself or sent it in. What happens if the xbox is flashed?

i got the rrod in januray im still waiting for my replacement x box.
personal, burn the unit it saves you less stress
