So how much is Halo 3 expected to make? Well Microsoft are aiming at sales of $155 million… in 24 hours 😉
They are planning on taking the number 1 spot back from Spiderman 3 which grossed $151m in its first 24 hours. So far with over a million copies already pre-ordered in North America and at a price of $50 minimum it is well on its way.
Yes you can’t really compare since movies are a lot cheaper and more people watch it but still $155 million is nothing to sneeze at.
Will it manage to do it? I can’t see it not personally. Remember the funky helmet edition comes in at $130 or in real money terms R757.76….
Notice how we are getting a very good price in South Africa? According to our exchange rate it should really be costing us between R910 (R7-$1) and R962 (R7.40 – $1)… Nice one MI Digital 😉
