Microsoft hints at motion-sensing 360

It looks like Microsoft are also planning on copying Nintendo now

Microsoft boss Bill Gates has admitted that his company is looking to integrate motion-sensing controls into its gaming hardware

Now we don’t know if this means an enhancement to the 360 or they are thinking of adding it to the next Xbox… Personally I really hope it’s the latter.

Actually to be perfectly honest I hope they don’t do it at all, I understand that it is really working for the Wii but the PS3’s motion sensor is useless and gets turned off by virtually every PS3 owner.

That is one next gen feature I don’t want.

um… it’s fun having motion sensor and in games like tony hawks project 8, it helps with grinding… but still no need for it. so lets hope mircosoft doesn’t go all peer pressure on us and get motion sensor

MS dont need to copy Nintendo’s Wii. They have patented motion-sensor technology back from their PC flight sim joystick days before it was even thought on consoles. If motion sensor technology is used effectively like on the Wii then people wouldnt turn it off IMO.

I’m still keen on the advent of motion-tech in cellphones that I read about the other week.

Right now the question when you see someone acting erratically on the street is “Bluetooth or crazy?” soon it will be “Motion Phone, or epileptic?”
