Minecraft coming to PlayStation?

Markus “Notch” Persson has received a special, VIP invitation to E3 by Sony.  Persson came to fame as the lead designer of Minecraft and owner of Mojang.

Persson showed off his new, gold coloured PSone on twitter.  It serves as his VIP invitation from Sony to E3. Plus, comparing the Xbox One to the PS One is pure gold.

This could be the sign of things to come.  Maybe Persson is being wooed by Sony – could be the first step toward getting Minecraft on the PS.  Or maybe he will start a new project for the PS4.  At this point, it’s all rumour and speculation, but could be a sign of interesting things to come!  In any event, Persson now has a cool new toy.

Good, SONY are capitalizing on a perfect opportunity AND I would not be surprised if their marketing team has had no sleep since last Wednesday spin doctoring new ways to tip the balance fully into their favor.

Hell, Microsoft even helped the Wii market their own flipping product considering pre-orders for the Wii-U jumped up 800% after the XBURN.
