PSBeyond has been given a preview of the upcoming game Mirrors Edge and it sounds absolutely fantastic.
First off it’s being made by the company who developed the awesome Battlefield Bad Company, DICE…
Basically the game is about free running and while there are some guns in the game they are sometimes more of a hindrance than a help as they slow you down and make it all a little more difficult.
The one part that I did think sounded very cool was the health system. For the first part the colours in the game are very very vibrant which makes a nice change. But now as you get hurt the colours start to desaturate… Now that’s just a cool idea.

um … COD does the whole desaturate thing as well as GOW so it’s really nothing new.

True but COD and GOW look desaturated to start with…
GOW uses that COG symbol more than desaturation really and doesn’t COD go more red and blurry rather than desaturated?

Uncharted did desaturation aswell when losing HP.
Game sounds very interisting and it is definatly on my “to look out for” list.
