Monopoly City Streets – Could You Ever Finish?

How many times did you start a game of Monopoly and then realize hours later that you had other things to do? Like say eat or drink…

I think you would be hard pressed to find anyone who could honestly state that they had actually won a game of Monopoly…start to finish and no cheating. Cheating obviously includes building millions of hotels on the blue streets. However, such trivialities aside, such a format lends itself quite nicely to the casual gaming scene and subsequently; game and toy giant Hasbro has opted to turn the popular board game (no pun intended) into an online medium.

Players will be dropped into quite a fascinating setup because the game uses real locations courtesy of Google Maps and allows one to “buy” real streets making competition with other online players, as only one person can own a given street, quite interesting and competitive.

The game will initially be cost free but allows only a certain amount of time played before a purchase is expected, and given Monopoly’s history, you will probably have to fork out to continue building your empire.

Either way it looks quite fun and if you have some time to kill, check out the website to get started. www.monopolycitystreets.com

Years and Years ago when i was still in Standard 3 and 4,
(grade 5 and 6) for the youngsters, use to play this
over weekends at a friends house, we used to play into the early hours of the mornings to finish it.

But no sane older person would do it.
