Anyone who has been following this website will know that I have pretty high hopes for the upcoming Operation Flashpoint title from Codemasters, titled Dragon Rising.
Thanks to a Codemasters forum member named Gwarzo, we have some footage available of mission walkthroughs from an event that held in London, which he happend to come across when browsing YouTube.
This particular mission that I have posted after the jump takes a look at a daytime operation that involves taking a beach position, but you can find the second part of the walkthrough as well as more and different videos by following the link at the bottom of the post.
I think this game may actually live up to my expectations, it’s looking fantastic and let’s not forget that it has co-op as well. The map is also so large that it would take you around 9 and a half hours to run across from end to end.
Gimme. Video below.

Thanks for posting this Nick, it’s looking really good.
Strangely, I’m looking forward to this more than MW2. I think I’m all out of the fast paced arcade type action shooters. and I’m looking forward to a bit more of a tactical approach.

if it is anything like ofp 1, then it most definitely will be all about tactics and less run ‘n gun.
i just hope people give it a chance and not dismiss it because of the hype surrounding mw2.

Actually it could’ve been a great game, but the graphics to the stats (ie, distance to shoot or be shot) sucks big time!I can’t find a decent walk-through, I’ve read several now. Checkpoints suck as well. Glad I didn’t buy this pos.
