PGR 4 Video Review

The long awaited PGR 4 is expected to hit our shores this weekend with the hopes of forcing Forza 2 out of your collection. It brings with it all of the great features of PGR 3 plus motorbikes.

The intermittent weather is fantastic in PGR4 and really does force you to change the way that you drive, the fog really does look intimidating in the above video as well.

There are some complaints that the motorbikes have not been integrated properly but I think that was expected since this is the first time they have been included.

IGN has written a very indepth review of PGR4 and have also given it a rating of 9.1, follow the link below to read the entire review.

The graphics look as brilliant as expected and the realism of the cities is astounding.

SA ETA is for the 12th of October. I think the demo should hit LIVE sooner than that. This game looks what PGR3 should have been if it hadnt been rushed!

Metacritics overall score is like 87 or something, then again there is a 100 in ther from xbox magazine, which swings it higher. Funny how much the review deviate from each other, some say its got something for everyone, some say it doesnt, some say its great, some say not so much.
From the vid, I gotta say it doesnt look that great, then again maybe Ive been watching too many GT5 vids 😉

If you havent played the first 3 games then you wont really understand the magnitude of PGR4. Same could be said about my GT5 opinion as it looks the same as GT3 with pretty landscapes. 😉

@Pillsbury, I gave you two different opinions and concentrated more on the Video than IGN… trying to be unbiased 😉

@Abev – lol! So easy to push your buttons! I cant judge a game thats not even out yet, so cant you. PGR4 is out thus how can you base a comparison? I simply DONT trust any more Sony vids of their games. Period.

Err… PGR never had damage models so expect them to break from the formula?
