If Destiny isn’t scratching that co-operative itch anymore, then there’s a distinctly different type of experience just on the Horizon. Monster Hunter World is bringing the incredibly popular franchise to current-generation consoles for the first time, and the new trailer showcasing new monsters, locales and items had one big surprise for PlayStation fans: Aloy.
Horizon Zero Dawn was heavily inspired by the sort of fighting that Monster Hunter pushes on its players, so it’s kind of neat to see it all come full circle with some exclusive content for the PS4 version of the game. You’ll get Aloy’s outfit and weapons, which might be helpful in bringing down whatever the hell you call half of these creatures. I’m excited to play Monster Hunter for the first time next January 26th, and I’m sure many others are too.
