PSN Trophy Shots – true or false

PSN Trophy Screenshot

Is it just me or does this screenshot look EXACTLY like a Xbox 360 gamercard?

Granted these could be false but they do fit the profile quite well… but then we couldn’t call it copying unless they actually used the game by game comparison page…

Copied....

… well if these are real screenshots then I have to say I am disappointed with Sony…

But since nothing has been officially confirmed I am calling BS on this one for now.

Hey it could be real, it’s a complete rip-off of the 360 gamer card which would be unoriginal – which is another word for Sony.

Who were the first to enter the console market? Do you know anything of console history?
Would you like a breakdown in order from 1972 right to current day? Playstation was actually a console in development between Nintendo and Sony to be a CD based gaming system. Though at the last minute Nintendo pulled out and went with Panasonic, so of course Sony who had done all of this work decided to release their own console.
Original? Dude if we are talking in the 7th generation of consoles then the original console is the 360. Facts my friend…

Lol. We all know that Sony’s corporate mantra since it was formed was to be the worlds greatest copycat 😉

That’s not just a flame post, it’s fact. They have never “invented” a thing, they take good idea’s and refine them, like Blizzard.

Regardless who came first, Sony copied MSoft with online play and hard discs.
    Anyway, it’s a childish discussion.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with copying ideas, or until Msoft does it, then it’s pure sin! 😛

So what if they copy it? If it works, then it is actually a compliment to MS.
Everybody is copying everything these days anyway.

Atleast when they copy it the improve it as well. I would much prefer this whole levelling up system compared to microsofts score. And it really doesn’t matter who invented it first. If it makes for a better experience for me then great.

lol knew this would be great, for the record i didnt say sony was the first console, the question was who enter the console market first sony or MS. it seems that everyone agrees that everyone copies everyone, my point being Sony seems to be geeting it in the neck for “borrowing” some ideas for this generation of consoles whereas it has been doen by others for years

Sony has been playing catch up with MS from the start of this generation, and they still have awhile to go. The 360 is a brilliant product. MS took a whole lot of ideas from different people, put in a lot of stuff they had been doing for years that people liked, and put in a few of their own to make a product that completely overshadowed what Sony was about to release (the PS3).

And Sony have been in deep water since, and being Sony they don’t know how to do anything new, so they can only copy. And they are starting to copy MS more and more.

Copying ideas isn’t a new business strategy that Sony invented (irony). In fact some of the richest people and companies in the world became wealthy because they copied an idea and implemented it better and marketed it better than the originator. I’ve just always rooted for the inovators.

The 360 is a brilliant product. And so is the PS3, deal with it. 😀
