Resident Evil 6 was only announced last week and now thanks to Microsoft we may know quite a bit about it’s multiplayer offerings.
According to a game listing on Xbox.com the next Resident Evil episode will once again include 2 player offline co-op but will now also include a 6 player online co-op experience and an 8 player multiplayer experience.
I’m not sure I’m excited about the multiplayer side of things but a 6 player online co-op zombie hunting extravaganza sounds pretty awesome to me.
But all of this needs to be taken with a pinch of salt as the current release date is set for the 20th of January 2012 which if you’re still waking up and didn’t realise it has passed already and the game hasn’t been released.
