Sega and Maxim looking for “The Real Bayonetta”

Bayonetta, The Devil May Cry clone from original Devil May Cry designer Hideki Kamiya is a game that’s marketing itself with two things; It’s intense action, and the blatant sex appeal of its eponymous shape-shifting, ass kicking protagonist. While Kamiya promises the game will “…blow the doors off the action genre,” Bayonetta herself seems intent on making me blow a wad on the inside of my underwear.

To *ahem* reaffirm the sex appeal bit, Sega is now looking for a real life Bayonetta with the aid of men’s magazine Maxim. they’re looking for a who girl embodies the "style and attitude" of the aforementioned femme fatal.

"Bayonetta is lethal — she’s beautiful but brutal. We’re convinced she will stir up the Maxim readers.” says Sega’s marketing VP Sean Ratcliffe. "We can’t wait to see the Maxim.com audience rise to the challenge of trying to find us a real life Bayonetta."

Needless to say, I’ll be keeping a very close eye on this contest. I won’t say where I’ll be keeping my right hand.
