I love these head to heads between the different consoles…
Next in line for the treatement is Skate… this game has been receiving fantastic reviews all round about its gameplay but I haven’t actually heard much about its graphics.
Well after the viewing the video it is quite easy to see which is the better looking version. Okay well maybe that is not entirely true as they seem identical but if you read some of the comments over at Xboxkings.com you will see that either PS3 has better textures, or the Xbox has better lighting or….
Which ever version you pick up you will be happy. Oh and this is an EA game so it’s nice to see they are not pushing out bad PS3 games at least.

I think it all depends what division of EA does the games. Perhaps some of the divisions have less experience with the PS3 SDK than others, etc. Regardless I am now tempted to download the skate. demo to give it a whirl. 🙂

I don’t trust EA with games for the PS3, or Wii anymore. Why? Because Peter Moore, former Vice-President of Microsoft, is now head of EA Sports, so games like MADDEN 08 seem completely skewed towards the 360. Every ad on TV about MADDEN only say Xbox 360, never once seen and ad that says Wii or PS3. It also seems that graphics wise, they didn’t bother with other consoles to either do better or fix graphical errors(frame rate, etc) everything just to boast the 360.
