Were you one of the people in Oblivion who though it would be really rad to become a vampire, got bitten, and then found out what a huge pain in the backside being a vampire. Did you do that painful quest to try and regain your…whatever race you were before you grew fangs and a deep aversion to sunlight?
Well, there’s every possibility you get to do it again in Skyrim.
In their hands-on with the game, Ripten discovered some vampires in a cave otherwise filled with Draugr, or skeletons. There’s no indication if players can be afflicted with vampirism, but knowing Bethesda and The Elder Scrolls, I’d say it’s a dead cert. They also, thankfully, don’t sparkle in the sunlight.
Another interesting titbit from their preview is that the game will feature over 70 voice actors, instead of the handful that made many conversation in Oblivion seem like deja vu.
