Apparently something big is coming to the PS3 at E3 this year which is going to give it a boost over the Wii and Xbox 360 during the 2008 holiday season. The unnamed sources are claiming that it isn’t Killzone 2 as that is now coming in 2009 and Home still has no release date.
The latest rumour is that God of War 3 is going to be announced, while I can see that happening I can’t see it being released this year so what is this big thing? Is it anything.
Well going by the ethics of the source site www.ps3center.net I would say they could just be making stuff up. This would be the site that stole one of my stories previously and refused to link back to me.
What I find quite horrifying though is that Killzone 2 is now a 2009 release, I mean this was meant to be the big launch title for the PS3 and it is now going to be completely squashed by the fantastic looking Resistance 2 made by Insomniac games. Who by the way are a little peeved that Killzone is getting all the money and delivering squat.
I wonder if Microsoft are going to try and steal Resistance 2 away from Sony?

Nah this isn’t a dig at the PS3. It’s a dig at PS3center.net and completely pointless reporting

My sources tell me Nintendo will be announcing their big game for Xmas at E3. We’re also expecting big announcements from Microsoft.
In other news, I hear the sun will rise tomorrow, unless you live in Jhb, in which case it will be cold and rainy.

“This would be the site that stole one of my stories previously and refused to link back to me.” – Oh man! Whats up with these guys!!!
“Killzone 2 is now a 2009 release”- Hahahahaha. I think they are still trying to tap into that untapped power of Cell.
And in other news… The PS3 is retailing at R5999 at Incredible Connection… really ;-). That’s with those 2 old games.

I would think that resistance should be getting more cash as they did sell a million + games, and it has a better following then Killzone 2. Hell I would rather play resistance over killzone 100 times over.

Lets hope Sony realises that too before Insomniac decides to take Resistance multiplatform 😉
