Happy days for Splinter Cell fans, and pretty much anyone interested in the upcoming title, Conviction.
Thanks to an interview with Joystiq, Ubisoft have have finally announced that there will in fact be multiplayer in Splinter Cell: Conviction. Will the mutliplayer work in a similar way to the previous titles Mercs vs Spies idea?
From the look of the game, I think that it’s very possible that Ubisoft will be looking at handling it differently. As discussed in our Microsoft Press Conference podcast, the multiplayer in Double Agent was pretty much broken.
Hopefully we will be treated with something special that works, because when Splinter Cells multiplayer mode works, it works damn well.
Not much has been said about the DLC, but they seem very sure that they want to keep content coming. I am not entirely sure what they are looking at, but I really hope that it isn’t something silly like additional costumes for Sam.
More information should be released soon, so stay tuned for more details soon.
