By now, you’ve probably been enjoying the SSX demo, taking full advantage of the slippery slopes and snowy trails that the teaser promises. It’s looking fantastic so far, and might be just what the sub-genre needs to once again put Snowboarding on the map, as the developers have really pulled no punches when it comes to presenting a massive and open world.

Now, while we may not be jumping off of a digital version of Table Mountain anytime soon, there are plenty of other locales available to shred your way down on, from the misty Himalayas all the way through to the trendy tourist spots on European mountains.

With the game releasing this week, EA has kicked the marketing engine into full overdrive, with three new trailers and a TV spot showing off the frigid landscapes of Alaska, Siberia and Patagonia.

SSX releases on PS3 and Xbox 360 this Friday.

Something wrong gentlemen? You come here prepared to read the words of a madman, and instead found a lunatic obsessed with comics, Batman and Raul Julia’s M Bison performance in the 1994 Street Fighter movie? Fine! Keep your bio! In fact, now might be a good time to pray to it!
