Console gamers often get the short end of the stick when it comes to mods and DLC and when we did finally get something in a game it ended up being Horse Armour which cost us 200 MS Points and did nothing to change the game of Oblivion at all.
But lets try put that aside now, I mean it’s been 5 years we should have gotten over it by now.. right?
Moving on, someone out there has now completely and utterly put the Horse Armour debacle to shame by forking out $1500, that’s R10 000, for a hat in Team Fortress 2.
Yes they paid R10 000 for a virtual hat that can only be worn in a FPS game. But what does this hat do to make it worth that much?
Does it enhance your characters sexuality and cause all the virtual girls to come a running? No.. Does it up your firepower to help you become the undisputed king of the online world? No… Okay so it’s a steal cap? No, makes you run faster? No, respawn faster? No… no no no no…
What this amazing R10 000 hat does is.,…. nothing… at all. It’s a hat, on fire and that my dear friend is that.
It’s a new level of idiocy and it blows my mind.
In related news I have this awesome magical fire that never goes out for sale? Where should we start the bidding?

People don’t realize that you don’t actually NEED to buy these things, but you can if you really want.
I have a tf2 backpack worth nearly 100$, which is 1/15 of the price of that burning Team Captain, but it’s still a lot. And I enjoy having these items; and if I want them, then why is it so wrong to get them?
Also, that hat is actually around £4500 pounds now (7367$). That’s a bit Over the top…
