Thanks Eskom

image If you were wondering why there were so few postings yesterday, wonder no more…

It was thanks to our monopolistic electricity supplier Eskom and the unexpected rolling blackouts.

Yup first my house was hit by load shedding and then as I reached my office it got taken down.

I then finally gave up and came home only to be hit again.

It seems Eskom felt like making up for the lack of power cuts that I suffered in 2007…

Anyway things are back to normal today and I appreciate your understanding. Maybe I should invest in a generator 🙂

It really, really sucks when you plan an afternoon of gaming, arrive home after work, switch on the xbox, and as the dashboard appears the power disappears…

Luckily my PSP is always charged…

i keep forgetting to charge my d@mn PSP.

Maybe it’s a ploy by Sony to get me to pick up my PSP.

Anyway, yesterday wasn’t too bad. Power was out from 17:30 – 19:30, so i still got to make my clan match.

It was sucks when you get home, power up your console and as the game is starting up the power cuts 🙁

I don’t mind the power being off when at work… even when I’ve got deadlines 😉

Home, of course is a different matter.
