The Darkness Review

Lord Spaceman has posted a fantastic in depth and comprehensive review of The Darkness.

At a first glance, The Darkness comes across as a standard First Person Shooter. When you go a little closer however, you realise that it’s so much more than that, it’s a FPSWDTOOYB – a First Person Shooter With Demonic Tentacles Out Of Your Back.

After the distributor debacle I was a little unsure of spending money on this, principals and all that, however after reading his review I don’t think I am going to be able to hold out….

Lets see if I can find a second hand copy though, otherwise my bank manager is going to be banging on my door at the end of September…

If you haven’t played The Darkness then I highly recommend following the link to read the entire review.

What is even better is that Lord Spaceman is a local, local is lekker 😉

I agree This isnt your standard fare FPS. Pity the online code is badly needing an update but the single player aspect of the game is impressive. Starbreeze may as well give us more of this goodness in games with their work in progress of the Chronicles of Riddick sequel called Dark Athena or something.
