The eBay car on GRiD

It seems that despite my best efforts the little i in GRiD hasn’t been picked up by the developers yet…

Fear not however, I may be lazy but that doesn’t mean I am not stubborn.. The i is here to stay on this site.

So what’s this video about? Well I am not to sure really, it seems to be a marketing video for ebay Motors in conjunction with GRiD….

Either way we get to see some more gameplay and doesn’t this game just look awesome… I think the PS3/Xbox 360 comparisons in this game are going to get the fanboys frothing…..

[Thanks Fox1 for the tip]

Watch the way the tires have a backspin effect and just hear the sound of the cars. Absolutely amazing 😆

    Crank up the volume!!!

    in doobivision:
    GRiD = Skate
All other racing games = Tony Hawk: Geriatric skate adventure.

i just realized that after all of these GRiD vs GT5 comparisions (that seem to have a PS3 vs 360 subtext to them) matter a little less. PS3 is getting GRiD anyway.

I have no idea how i missed that.

and doobivision, she’s a little broken, how can you put Forza in the “Tony Hawk” category ?

Aha 💡 Haven’t you been following the trend of cross platform games on the PS3 😯

I also agree about the FORZA thing.

I think it looks very nice. In my opinion they are targeting the casual racing crowd. The graphics have that friendly blur,
there is the obligatory car damage to show the young studs what might happen in an actual accident. The gameplay looks very loose(love the drifting at about 160km/h around corners) 😀 .
It will be a welcome break and relax from the more intense and realistic side of racing sim that is GT5.

I stand firm on my doobivision, I is legend! 😉

Seriously how far can Forza and GT go? So they get that fraction more realistic, the graphics go up a notch, but the game doesn’t change. I mean Laguna Seca hasn’t changed since the PSOne! Do you really care if you can put a twin turbo in a kia Picanto? In all these sim games, most guys go straight to the Ferraris and Porches anyway, so rather build the game around that.

It depends how much of a petrol head you are.
Personally, I would rather be tinkering and modifying my cars in Forza and GT. That’s not to say i won’t be getting GRiD, I will. But I won’t be getting it for the same reasons that I bought Forza2 and GT. By the way, Forza2 is the only Xbox360 game that I have bought. The others were all my brothers.
I really enjoy the racing side of gaming. 😀

Me too, but I suck at it 😉

I really enjoy Forza & GT but find it got too much. When I got my hands on DiRT it was a case of “this is what I want in a game”.

For the ultimate motorsport fan, FORZA 2 serves up but it does matter how well you know your racing and what you look for. Like the other day I was playing FORZA 2 and I put two tires of the circuit, kicked up some dust but still kept the lead 😎

Arriving at the next turn, pressing down the break peddle at the furthest breaking point, the car just locked up and went straight on and bang in the barrier. 😡 A case of cold tires when I saw the tire temperature gauge:idea:. That was with the F430GT. If you try common racing driver tactics like double pumping the brake peddle then you can save a situation like that 😉
