Infamous 2
Platforms: PlayStation 3
Developer: Sucker Punch
Available: Right now!
Kalahari.net price: R505.95 (delivered in 24 hours)

In my opinion, if anyone has benefited from the PSN hack (besides whoever hacked it in the first place) it would be InFAMOUS 2 and the hardworking elves at Sucker Punch. As a reward program for sticking with Sony in this time of internetless, the original InFAMOUS is up for free digital download on the PlayStation Store and will create a whole new set of fans to run onto the sequel including yours truly. But seeing as I haven’t played the first game (yet) I think it is fitting to pass this onto someone who has and in turn, reviewed InFAMOUS 2: inFamous 2 Review – Don’t Give Me The Cole Shoulder

Duke Nukem: Forever
Platforms: Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC
Developer: 3D Realms
Available: Right now!
Kalahari.net price: R518.95 (delivered in 24 hours)

With countless delays, development issues and even a few rumours of the whole project being shut down… again, Duke Nukem Forever has been a mixed bag of excitement and disinterest from fans and journalist alike.

Since his launch, Duke has received less than desirable review scores and has been seen as one of the monumental failures of 2011. So why then is it on The Top 5 Games of Right Now list? Well, for two reasons really. First and foremost, this is Duke Nukem you are talking about, an iconic figure in video games and no matter how messed up it may be (according to everyone else) you really have to play this one if not for the sentimental value alone.

That and who doesn’t want to run around spouting those famous, chauvinistic one-liners in the all new multiplayer mode?

Dungeon Siege 3
Platforms: Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC
Developer: Obsidian Entertainment
Available: Jun 17, 2011
Kalahari.net price: R556.95

Dungeon Siege 3 looks amazing! From killing monsters to looting helpless villagers, this one has it all. With a new, reworked control system and a good number of unique and upgradable abilities to play with, it is certain that the land of Ehb, along with the 10th Legion is in for a bit of a surprise.

Jump in, save the kingdom from darkness and get ready for some epic online and co-op gameplay that now will feature up to four players.
