TheXboxLounge.co.za is changing?

So I was just over at www.thexboxlounge.co.za organising a quiet Friday evening before the big party on Saturday and I noticed something strange.

It appears that the guys who run the site have something up their sleeve, there is an image there now that says

Something’s changing – We’re evolving

Now I remember when TXL was more like a community site rather than purely a matchmaking site and hopefully they are moving back towards that side of life.

I obviously contacted them to find out what is happening and lets just say they were not willing to divulge anything yet, but from the few little bits of information I got it does sound interesting.

I guess we are all going to have to wait and see. Hey if you are also planning on staying in this Friday before the big weekend maybe try pop around and organise some Halo 3 Co-op gaming… It’s time to finish the fight.

I for one welcome our future robotic overlords

Okay, really now, MiNeM, Koldfusion, DriftZilla, sit down and have a chat about how to make one uniformed network. If I had more cashflow, I know I’d certainly make an offer to both groups, buy the respective sites and then make a uniform network 😀 . So, since I don’t have the cash right now, just make it happen without me, okay?

But if they all played nicely what would I report on?

I wonder how much the two sites are actually worth?

  • MiNeM (xbox-360.co.za) and Myself (txl.co.za) have been in communications for sometime, and we do help each other when we can.

I will tell you that we made a firm decision that Xbox-360.co.za is the Forum side of the South African Community and we’re not going invade his territory. I believe in connecting the community sites not competing against them.
