We’re in for a cold weekend countrywide. Cape Town decided to be a real bastard, sharing its cold weather with everybody! One upside is that it will make for a rather awesome gaming weekend. There is nothing better than hibernating inside while the rest of the world ends outside. Need something to play? Humble Bundle is here to save the day!
You can get a handful of games for anything over $1. Pay more though, and you’ll soon be swimming in Indie goodness! Here’s the latest Humble Bundle
Individually, all of these would cost more than $110! Check out the official blurb:
Eight games, picked by Penny Arcade. The PAX 10 represents the best in indie gaming. Check out eight PAX 10 picks from the past and present! Pay what you want for BADLAND Premium, Solar 2, Containment: The Zombie Puzzler and Jamestown: Legend of the Lost Colony Deluxe Pack DRM-free for select platforms. Purchases of $1 or more will also unlock Solar 2, Containment and Jamestown on Steam for select platforms. Pay more than the average price and you’ll also get The Swapper and FEZ DRM-free and on Steam. If you pay $15 or more, you’ll get all of the above, plus Cannon Brawl (Early Access Game) and Life Goes On. Check out three free games from the DigiPen Institute of Technology alumni, too: Deity, A Flipping Good Time and Solace. This bundle of A-list indies is only available during PAX Prime weekend and ends on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at 11 a.m. PDT.
That gives you around 4 days to decide whether the bundle is worth it or not. If you do somehow have nothing to play this weekend, this will fix that very quickly. Remember that whatever you choose to pay can be split however you want between developers, Humble Bundle themselves, as well as a charity. The charity for this particular bundle is Child’s Play.
What do you think, is there anything here you’d be interested in picking up?

I need to get out more often.
Also WTF happened to the site?!?
I can’t figure out how to look at the articles I missed from Friday… give me a few hours and I might get it working.

The “latest news” bar keeps track of what you’ve missed. 🙂

Wow, only 12 articles since 9:30 AM on Friday.
It must have been a really slow day, either that or I need to do more digging.

My OCD does not appreciate the change. O well will take a couple of days to get used to it.
